Dubuque’s Branching Out initiative is taking root with a $1.5 million grant from the U.S. Forest Service to plant over 5,000 trees throughout the community.

New in 2026, eligibility is open city-wide to homeowners and renters with low-to-moderate incomes. Residents of all income levels who live in the Branching Out eligibility areas also qualify!
