Climate Action Implementation Team

Dubuque has a goal of reducing our carbon emissions 50% by 2030. A group of passionate residents and city employees worked together with Pale Blue Dot to update the Climate Action plan.

Do your part - reach out to staff to find out what you can do or read the Climate Action Plan and choose and action and go for it!

Dubuque Partners with RentLab

This collaboration will increase the visibility of sustainability and efficiency in rental housing. RentLab's Smart Living Score recognizes a range of sustainability features, from recycling and utility costs, to energy efficiency and walkability.  This helps tenants get a complete picture of their housing options, and helps landlords prioritize opportunities for improvement.  We need you to help build the RentLab database and educate residents about RentLab's tools.

Resources Unite is a great way to find volunteer opportunities in the area! With different categories ranging from animals to senior citizens to health, you are bound to find something you are interested in that will help create a positive change for the community.
